Mayfield, Sr. Partner & Head of Global Capital James has been a Superior Court-Appointed Chairman, CEO, COO and CFO of various real estate development and management companies.   As a COO of IDC in Newport Beach, he built 15 shopping centers.  He has also constructed over 2,500 apartments and many single family homes, including the development and construction of the “Ridgley” in Maryland – a 26 story luxury condominium project.  Mr. Mayfield is experienced in resort properties, fractional real estate offerings, single home development, multi-family, commercial, office buildings and industrial developments.  He has been a Court-Appointed Chairman of companies in litigation through Superior Court for the State Of California; and is experienced in REO and foreclosure properties.   He has managed North Atlantic Partners, a Private Equity Fund in Luxembourg.  James has also lead acquisition teams in acquiring banks and privately held companies.  A previous Senior Vice President and Division Manager for two major banks, he has a MBA and a BA degree, is a California Real Estate Broker and is a licensed Registered Investment Executive.   Thomas Perkins, Sr. Partner, Head of Administration Thomas has been the underlying administrative head for both IRETO and SLS since both firm’s inception.  He specializes in the development of systems of administration for each entity, and is responsible for ensuring that all of the licensing, administrative and other functions are fully in compliance with all requisite laws and leading-edge processes.  He also has a strong background in Property Management, Real Estate Construction and Landscape design.    Sheila Zamel, Sr. Partner Sheila began her real estate career working in her family real estate business in South Africa, building single family developments.  She also was a co-owner of a commercial real estate brokerage and management company in Santa Monica, California.  She is a marketing expert; has managed organizational change and developed successful marketing companies internationally.  A University of Southern California graduate, Sheila has owned operating companies in Mexico, South Africa and the United States.  Beside developing real estate internationally, she is a resort fractional real estate expert and an expert on market and real estate valuation.  Gloria Stern, Sr. Partner & New York Managing Broker Gloria has been a legend in New York Residential Real Estate and Hotel Development.  Over the last 10 years she became one of New York City’s top luxury  brokers as well as developing strong relationships hotel owners and top restaurant owners to create new and exciting concepts.  Kamia Taylor, Partner For over 25 years, Kamia has been involved in commercial real estate for such companies as Mitsui Real Estate Sales, Douglas Emmett and Standard Management.  Ms. Taylor obtained her CPM in Property Management and was involved in the management of over 2000 apartment units and 77 commercial properties, including major regional malls and mid-sized shopping centers.   She subsequently obtained her paralegal certification, and for the past 15 years has specialized in the drafting and negotiation of commercial real estate documents of all sorts, including completion of over 2,500 commercial leases for various firms.  Ms. Taylor is an expert in lease abstraction and administrative due diligence, having reviewed the documents and completed summaries for over 300 properties.   ADVISORS James T. Nagle Jim is the past President of R&B Management in Santa Monica, California; and prior Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis in Los Angeles.  Jim is an expert in asset utilization, real estate issues and real estate maximization for a variety of industries.  Jim is a Registered Investment Executive; a California Real Estate Broker; and works with many private equity firms, sourcing and funding commercial real estate portfolios. Kenneth Miller Ken is CEO of Source 1, and has extensive experience in market development, marketing, promotions and strategic planning.  Some of his clients have included successful real estate developers, financial institutions, private business owners and international organizations. Mr. Miller operated as an Undersecretary to the United Nations, helping organize the development and construction of homes for a multitude of people throughout the world.  He has consulted on acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures of companies, and real estate developments across the United States, as well as internationally.
